| Abstract: | On Nov. 8, university professors launched a three-hour work stoppage, and planned a nationwide series of protests Nov. 21 alongside primary and secondary school teachers. Meanwhile, unions representing secondary and elementary school teachers announced an indefinite strike beginning Nov. 9 to pressure the government for 90% and 80% pay hikes, respectively.
